About Embedded Network Management
Hum Energy is an accredited Embedded Network Manager and is providing embedded network management services to hundreds of Strata Title buildings around Australia. With decades of experience in the energy industry and managing thousands of customers across Australia, we have the expertise that body corporate’s, commercial landlords, park operators and their customers deserve.
IMPORTANT ELECTRICITY CHANGES
An Embedded Network Manager (ENM) is a new accredited service provider that has been created to manage the process of End Users in embedded networks moving between off-market and on-market retailers.
You must appoint an ENM if:
You currently own and/or operate an embedded network
You have 29 or more embedded network customers
You must appoint an ENM, if you have under 29 EN customers, but when a customer within the network enters into a market retail contract
WHAT DOES AN ENM DO?
An ENM must maintain embedded network information regarding wiring, meter types, configuration of metering, parent and child meter information.
The ENM must carry out functions such as registering a child NMI (National Metering Identifier) to customers in embedded networks so they can be identified in the market and creating and updating NMI standing data.
