Embedded Network Manager update for all Body Corporate committees and managers

Embedded network operators have less than a week to actively engage in the appointment of an Embedded Network Manager. The purpose of the ENM is to facilitate the transfer of a customer from off-market to on-market (and back again if required). – ‘Australian Energy Regulator.’

Humenergy would like to advise all BCC’s and Strata Managers of the following updates:

• The AER is allowing an initial transitional period from December 1, 2017, to March 31st, 2018. Where embedded network operators can demonstrate taking active steps to appoint an Embedded Network Manager.
• You must appoint an ENM if:
  • You currently own and/or operate an embedded network.
  • Your network has 30 or more embedded network customers.
  • You have under 30 Embedded Network customers, but a customer within the network enters into a market retail contract.
• For Humenergy’s existing customers, we will be issuing a formal letter of advice and recommendations in the immediate future. We offering zero cost, for appointment to our existing utility billing customers.
